Paul O’Keefe started up Kelly Gang Educational Services back in 2004.

Paul is based in Sydney but now travels the country lecturing and talking about

his amazing family’s story and heritage.

The catalyst for starting up this educational business was when my primary school age son bought home reference books on Ned Kelly and his gang from the school library for a school project.

To my horror they were full of historical mistakes and blatant misinformation. I was angry and determined to tell what is ostensively my family story and family heritage.

I want all Australians to understand and study this amazing period in our countries history without those same mistakes and with no misinformation that the that litter the latest Movies and Novels.

So I went about piecing together a traveling show where I present a “state of the art multi media show” with historical props to tell our amazing story.

More importantly audiences will learn what really happened, in a fun, interactive and educational way.

Paul’s connection to the Kelly Gang

Paul’s Great Great Grandmother was Esther Hart .

Her brother was Steve Hart member of the Kelly Gang killed at Glenrowan in 1880

Esther Hart was Ned Kelly’s girlfriend.
